Privacy policy

Privacy policy defines the principles of processing and protecting personal data provided by Users of online service, hereinafter the Online Service.

  1. The Controller of personal data published in the Online Service is STOKSON Spółka Jawna Henryk Stokłosa i Wspólnicy with its registered offices in Chorzów ul. Stacyjna 1 NIP [tax id. no.] 6270015196, REGON [National Business registry no.] 003454150, hereinafter the Controller.
  2. The Online Service obtains information about Users entered in the forms, on the basis of consent expressed by them.
  3. The submitted data is processed for purposes resulting from the function of a specific form, e.g. to answer questions.
  4. The User who has filled in the form is entitled to:
    1. access, modify, or delete their personal data,
    2. limit data processing and request for ceasing to process their data at any time,
    3. withdraw their consent at any time – withdrawal of consent does not affect the legality of processing carried out prior to the withdrawal,
    4. transfer data to another Controller of their personal data,
    5. file a complaint to a supervisory body.
  5. Personal data provided by the User in the form will be processed no longer than it is necessary for purposes for which it was provided and until the Controller’s legal, accounting and tax obligations exist, and also until possible claims’ limitation period. If the consent for personal data processing was expressed – until its withdrawal.
  6. The Controller shall assure due diligence in order to adequately secure the provided personal data, in particular against its disclosure to unauthorised persons.
  7. The provided personal data may be shared only to entities that have a legal basis resulting from the Polish law.
  8. The entities collecting and processing personal data in the Online Service are mainly from Poland and countries of the European Economic Area (EEA). Some of the suppliers are based outside the EEA (e.g. Google Inc. is seated in USA and it provides the Online Service with a statistics service called Google Analytics). These entities are obliged to comply with the rules set out in the EU-US Privacy Shield program, regarding collecting, using and storing personal data of the EU citizens (Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2016/1250 of 12 July 2016 on adequacy of protection provided by the EU-US Privacy Shield) and contractual clauses adopted by the EU Commission.
  9. Legal basis related to processing personal data:
    1. The Act of 18 July 2002 on the rendering electronic services (ARES);
    2. Act of 16 July 2004 the Telecommunications Law (ATL);
    3. Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on protection of natural persons with regard to processing personal data and on free flow of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC; (GDPR).

Policy of using Cookie files

Cookies files are IT data, stored on Users’ devices, intended for browsing websites.

  1. The Online Service does not automatically collect any information, except for the information contained in cookies files. These include: an IP address, a domain name, a browser type, a type of operating system and data about User’s navigation path and their time of staying on specific subpages.
  2. The Controller may use cookies to:
    1. increase usability of the Online Service and to adjust its contents to individual preferences of a User,
    2. create anonymous statistics based on Google Analytics system (analyses of Users’ actions in the Online Service and demographic data), excluding the possibility of identifying a User,
    3. display remarketing ads via Google AdWords to Users who visited the Online Service,
    4. display personalized ads, tailored to the interests of users and their online behaviour,
  3. Detailed information on methods of handling cookies files can be found in the web browser settings. Through these settings, it is possible to define the scope of a User’s consent to place such types of files in their browser. Limiting the use or disabling the use of cookies may affect certain functionalities of the Online Service.

Safety rules

  1. The User of the Online Service should take care of security of their devices which have access to the Internet. The device should have antivirus software with a current virus definition database, a current and secure version of the web browser and enabled firewall.
  2. It is recommended to activate in the web browser anti-phishing filters (tools) which check whether the displayed web page is authentic and is not used for phishing, e.g. by impersonating an institution or a given economic entity.
  3. It is recommended to be careful when opening attachments or clicking links in emails that a User did not expect, e.g. from unknown senders. In case of any doubts, it is advisable to contact the sender e.g. by phone.
  4. Files should be downloaded only from trusted sources. It is highly risky to install software from unverified sources.
  5. An Online Service user using a home Wi-Fi network should set up a secure and difficult to break password for accessing the network. It is also recommended to use the highest possible standards for wireless Wi-Fi network encryption, which are possible to run on your equipment, e.g. WPA2.
